Below you'll find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions

1. Who belongs to the West Alabama British Car Club?

Our current membership roster includes 21 males and females ranging in age from the 20s to the 80s. Our members have a variety of backgrounds and life experiences but share an interest in British cars.

2. What types of things does the club do?

We meet once every month for supper at various restaurants in the greater Tuscaloosa and Northport area. Additional gatherings include the Spring Fling, Fall Valve Cover Race, and our Christmas Party. We attend car shows as well.

3. Who can attend meetings or join the club?

We welcome anyone who has an interest in British cars, whether you are a potential member or want to present information that will be of interest to our current members. Potential members are welcome to attend a monthly meeting before making a decision about membership. We ask that visitors contact Eddie Davis, WABCC Club President, to RSVP.

4. Where and when do you meet?

From August until May, the club meets the first week of the month on a Monday or Tuesday night for a Dutch treat supper at a restaurant in the greater-Tuscaloosa or Northport area. We eat, visit, and talk about our cars. Our Meetings and Events page lists our upcoming meeting place as well as past meeting places.

5. How much are membership dues and how are the funds used?

Annual membership dues are $20 per member and/or couple or family. Funds collected from member dues pay for the main course served at our annual Spring Fling, Fall Valve Cover Race, and Christmas Gathering as well as finance our club's website.

6. Can you give me mechanical and/or technical advice?

Yes. Our members have varying degrees of knowledge and experience working on British cars, but all are happy to help and share what we know and have learned.
